My Story
Making a Positive Impact
The foundation of your health begins with a positive mindset and body gratitude. My aim is to help you identify your fitness goals, design an exercise program that fits your needs, and guide you through every exercise, every workout. My passion for helping others achieving their goals started when I became a group fitness instructor in college; almost 25 years ago. Since then, I have grown as an athlete and trainer, and have fulfilled many of my own and clients' goals.
My love for fitness and health started when I began running cross country and track in high school. The ambition that my previous coaches have instilled in me, have shaped me into the trainer I am today. I am a finisher of 19 marathons and a 2 time runner of the Boston Marathon. My other personal accomplishments include completing numerous 5ks, half marathons, Ragnar races, and The Half IronMan.
After becoming a certified group fitness instructor, I aspired for more challenges and leadership roles. I am a former elementary school fitness program director, "Girls on the Run" coach and supervisor, and aerobics instructor. I am an ACE Certified Personal Tainer, NCCA ACTION certified personal trainer, and CPR & AED certified. I have mastered multiple courses in health and wellness through ACTION Athletic Certification & Training Commission along with FLS Fitness Learning Systems. These certifications include: Advanced Nutrition courses, Inflammation, Hormones and Metabolism courses, Functional Training for All Ages courses, and Fitness Programs for the Older American course.
